WEICON Brushable Liquid Zinc Coating

The Zinc Coating is based on strictly pure zinc and aluminium pigment flakes, which have been produced in a special process. As well as protecting against cathodic corrosion it also provides a good barrier effect (´shingle’ effect).
The ingredients, which are in a perfect blend, have the effect that the zinc flakes deposit themselves in the lower layer and the aluminium flakes in the upper layer. This results in a colour tone which, on the whole, matches hot galvanizing.

Areas of application:

repairs of hot galvanized parts in matching colour
as rust protection base, e.g. for coats of varnish
for coating welded and drilled areas, e.g. on galvanised metal sheets
as conductive intermediate layer in spot welding
wherever metal must be protected against corrosion
