WEICON Bio-Fluid

Bio-Fluid is a resin, acid and solvent free, medical-grade, water-coloured lubricant, that has been specially developed for use in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. WEICON Bio-Fluid is odour-free, does not affect taste, is temperature resistant from -25°C to +120°C, water-repellent and has excellent creeping properties. Hinders friction and wear and tear.

WEICON Bio-Fluid

Areas of application:

lubrication and care of precision mechanisms of food technology
as a lubricant in pharmaceutical production machinery
on filling machines in the cosmetic industry
slow moving drive chains and conveyer belts (e.g. in airports)
as a lubricant in packing and filling equipment
any parts where occasional technically unavoidable contact with food cannot be excluded

The following plastics and elastomers will not be affected:

ACM, CSM, FKM, NBR, SQM/MVQ, ABS, CA, EPS, PA, PC, PE, PET, POM, PP, PPO, PTFE, PVC.

Not resistant are:

CR, EPDM, NR, SBR, PS, PUR, TPE.

Bio-Fluid:

fulfils the requirements of the German Pharmacopeia (DAB 10)
der USDA¹ H1 approval for the direct contact with food
der US FDA² positive list (in accordance with formulation)
der US FDA² purity certification 21 CFR 178.3620 (a)
